The ZHIYUN MOLUS X100 is a compact 100W bi-colour COB light designed for filmmakers, content creators, photographers and small production setups that need portable output without carrying a large lighting fixture.
Despite its small body, the MOLUS X100 delivers a 100W maximum output with adjustable brightness from 0–100% and a colour temperature range of 2700K–6500K. This makes it useful for interviews, tabletop work, travel shoots, compact studio setups and quick location lighting where speed and portability are important.
The fixture uses active cooling and can be powered in several ways, including its DC power adapter, USB-C PD power, or the optional X100 grip battery. This gives the light flexibility for both mains-powered studio work and more mobile shooting situations.
For control, the MOLUS X100 offers onboard adjustment and Bluetooth app control. ZHIYUN’s published specifications list CRI at 95 or above and TLCI at 97 or above, supporting accurate colour reproduction for general video and photography use.
The light uses ZHIYUN’s compact accessory mounting system and features two 1/4-inch threaded mounting points. With compatible accessories, it can be adapted for different lighting setups, from direct output through to reflector, softbox and Bowens-mount workflows depending on the kit configuration.
