The Litepanels LP-1×1 Bi-Colour Panel Light is a lightweight LED panel suitable for film, video, interview, documentary, corporate and location production work.
It provides adjustable colour temperature from 3200K tungsten balance through to 5600K daylight balance, allowing it to be matched to practical lighting, daylight, tungsten sources or mixed-location setups. This makes it useful as an interview key or fill light, soft room light, background accent, documentary light or compact location panel.
The panel has full-range dimming, allowing brightness to be adjusted without changing lamps or adding scrims. The older 1×1 design is slim, lightweight and ballast-free, making it quick to rig and easy to transport compared with larger panel fixtures.
This particular unit has an IDX V-mount battery plate attached, allowing it to be powered from compatible V-mount batteries when mains power is not available. It can also be powered from its AC power supply, making it practical for both studio and location use.
For production use, this is best treated as a useful lightweight bi-colour panel rather than a modern high-output fixture. It is especially suitable for interviews, quick setups, smaller rooms, low-power location lighting and situations where a slim, battery-capable LED source is useful.
