10m RCD-Protected Single Socket Extension Lead
A heavy-duty 10m RCD-protected single socket extension lead for film production, location power and charging setups, built with 2.5mm² 24A-rated H07RN-F tough rubber cable and an RCD plug for added protection at the supply end.
This 10m RCD-protected single socket extension lead is a practical heavy-duty power accessory for film, video, event and location production use.
Built with 2.5mm² H07RN-F tough rubber cable, it is designed for more demanding temporary power setups than a lightweight domestic extension lead. The shorter 10m length makes it useful for local power runs where a robust, easy-to-handle cable is needed without the bulk of a longer 25m or 50m extension.
This version is configured with an RCD plug type, meaning the RCD protection is built into the plug end of the extension lead. This can be useful when connecting from a standard 13A socket or suitable compatible supply where residual-current protection is required at the point of connection.
The single 13A socket output makes it suitable for powering one item or a carefully planned low-load setup, such as a monitor, battery charger, laptop, audio recorder, small LED fixture, production desk accessory or other compatible 230V equipment.
As with all location power equipment, the connected load must remain within the rating of the plug, cable and socket outlet. Cable routing, weather exposure, trip hazards, RCD testing, PAT test status and environmental conditions should all be checked before use.
