Calibrite ColorChecker

The Calibrite ColorChecker Passport Video 2 is a compact colour-management reference tool designed for filmmakers, videographers, photographers and hybrid shooters who need consistent colour, exposure and white-balance control from capture through to post-production.

The Passport Video 2 contains four targets in one protective pocket-sized case: two video targets for use with zebras, vectorscope and RGB parade workflows, a White Balance target for custom in-camera white balance, and the ColorChecker Classic 24-patch target for stills camera profiling and visual colour reference.

For video production, the Video Color Target includes chromatic colour chips aligned with production colour workflows, skin tone chips, grey balance chips, and highlight/shadow reference patches. These can be used with tools such as waveform monitors, vectorscopes and RGB parade displays to help align cameras, check exposure and establish a consistent neutral starting point before grading.

The 3-step grayscale target includes white highlight, 40 IRE mid-tone grey and high-gloss black reference patches, making it useful for setting exposure and matching contrast between cameras. Calibrite’s video guide also describes waveform reference ranges for white, light grey, dark grey and black patches when evaluating exposure.

The White Balance target provides a spectrally neutral reference for setting a custom in-camera white balance, helping reduce colour casts and maintain consistency across mixed lighting setups. The compact case is self-standing, adjustable to multiple positions and designed to protect the targets during transport and location use.
