The Godox VSA-36K Spotlight Attachment Kit is a projection-style light shaping accessory for film, video, photography and creative lighting setups.
Designed for compatible Bowens-mount LED fixtures, the VSA-36K allows a standard COB-style light to be turned into a more controlled spotlight source. It can be used to create hard-edged pools of light, slash effects, window patterns, background texture, product highlights, theatrical beams and more precise lighting shapes.
This version includes the 36° projection lens, giving a wider beam than the narrower 19° and 26° options in the VSA range. The 36° lens is useful when you need a broader projected shape, a wider wash of controlled light, or when working in smaller rooms where a narrower lens would be too tight. Retail and product specification references list the VSA-36K with a 36° lens, Bowens mount, and compatibility with LED light sources up to 300W.
The attachment includes built-in shutter blades for cutting and shaping the beam, plus a gobo holder and gel frame for projected patterns and colour effects. This makes it especially useful for music videos, narrative scenes, stylised interviews, product lighting, background breakup and dark-location lighting setups.
For best results, the VSA should be used with a suitable Bowens-mount LED fixture and mounted securely on an appropriate stand or grip support. It is a heavier front-mounted accessory, so the fixture, yoke, stand and sandbagging should all be checked carefully before use.
