Sigma Art 24-105mm f4 EF Lens

The Sigma 24-105mm F4 DG OS HSM Art is a full-frame standard zoom lens designed for photography, video and general production use.

Covering a practical 24-105mm focal range, it works well as an all-rounder lens for interviews, events, documentaries, corporate video, location work, behind-the-scenes coverage and stills photography. The constant F4 aperture keeps exposure consistent throughout the zoom range, making it useful when reframing or changing focal length during a setup.

The lens is part of Sigma’s Art line and uses a 19-element, 14-group optical design with FLD, SLD and aspherical elements. Sigma states that the lens is designed to maintain high optical performance across the zoom range while reducing common zoom-lens issues such as distortion, chromatic aberration and reduced peripheral brightness.

For handheld use, the lens includes Sigma’s Optical Stabilizer system on supported mounts, helping reduce camera shake when shooting stills or handheld video. The HSM autofocus motor provides fast and quiet autofocus performance, with full-time manual focus override available for more controlled focus adjustments.

For production use, the 82mm front filter thread makes it compatible with common screw-in ND, diffusion and polarising filters, while the internal focus design means the front of the lens does not rotate during focusing. This is useful when working with circular polarisers or variable ND filters.
