Sony FS5

The Sony FS5 Mark I is a compact Super 35 E-mount camcorder designed for documentary, corporate, event, commercial, interview and run-and-gun film production.
It offers a lightweight modular body, Super 35 sensor, Sony E-mount lens compatibility, built-in electronic variable ND and professional video ergonomics in a smaller form factor than larger cinema cameras. This makes it useful for handheld shooting, shoulder rigs, gimbals, tripods, interviews and fast-moving location work.
This particular FS5 has the major Sony upgrade licences installed, giving it a more capable feature set than a standard base-model FS5 Mark I. The installed RAW upgrade allows 12-bit FS RAW output over SDI to a compatible external recorder, including 4K RAW output and continuous 2K RAW high-frame-rate output.
The installed HFR upgrade adds continuous 100/120fps recording in 1080p, while the later firmware also adds HLG HDR support and the option to use ISO 2000 as the minimum ISO when recording S-Log2/S-Log3.
The MPEG HD upgrade adds broadcast-friendly MPEG HD422 50Mbps and MPEG HD420 35Mbps recording options, giving the camera more flexibility for legacy broadcast, documentary and fast-turnaround workflows.
