The Sony a7S III is a professional full-frame mirrorless camera body designed for filmmakers, videographers, documentary shooters and hybrid photo/video production.
Built around a 12.1MP effective full-frame Exmor R CMOS sensor, the a7S III is particularly well suited to low-light filming, handheld shooting, interviews, events, corporate work, music videos and small cinema-style production setups. Sony lists the expanded ISO range up to ISO 409600 for both stills and movie shooting.
For video work, the camera records internally in XAVC S, XAVC HS and XAVC S-I formats, including 4K recording up to 120p / 100p and 10-bit 4:2:2 options.
