A 30m IP54-rated Masterplug 2-socket cable reel for indoor and outdoor production utility power, useful for low-load location equipment, charging setups, video village accessories and general 13A power extension.
The Masterplug 30m IP54 2-socket cable reel is a practical location power accessory for film, video, event and general production use.
With a 30m cable length and two UK 13A socket outlets, it is useful for extending standard 230V power to production desks, charging areas, video village, small lighting accessories, monitors, laptops, audio equipment and other low-to-mid load equipment.
The IP54-rated design includes splashproof socket covers, making it more suitable for controlled outdoor and damp-location use than a basic indoor-only extension reel. The high-visibility yellow cable also helps reduce trip risk on set when routed correctly.
The reel includes thermal overload protection, which helps protect against overheating if the reel is overloaded or used while wound. For production use, the cable should still be fully unwound under higher loads, load-planned properly, and used with suitable RCD protection where required.
As with all location power equipment, the total connected load must stay within the reel’s rating, and the much lower wound-load rating must be respected if the cable is not fully unwound.
