DJI RS 3 Gimbal

The DJI RS 3 is a single-handed 3-axis gimbal stabiliser designed for mirrorless camera setups, making it well suited to film production, branded content, social video, weddings, events, music videos and run-and-gun shooting.

With a tested payload of 3kg, the RS 3 can support a wide range of compact camera and lens combinations, providing smooth stabilised movement for tracking shots, walk-and-talk sequences, handheld B-roll, product movement and dynamic camera operating.

The gimbal features automated axis locks, allowing the three axes to unlock and expand when powering on, and lock again when powering down or entering sleep mode. This makes setup, packing down and moving between locations faster than working with manual lock-only systems.

For camera control, the RS 3 supports Bluetooth shutter control on compatible cameras, allowing supported start/stop recording, autofocus and photo functions without necessarily relying on a camera control cable. A physical gimbal mode switch also allows fast switching between Pan Follow, Pan and Tilt Follow, and FPV modes.

The DJI RS 3 also includes a 1.8-inch full-colour OLED touchscreen, Ronin app support, USB-C charging and a removable battery grip with up to 12 hours of maximum runtime. It is a practical option for productions needing a professional stabilisation tool that remains compact enough for solo operators and small crews.
